Native Renewables is an indigenous-led organization working to promote low-cost clean energy solutions for Native American families and communities throughout the United States. To help accomplish the goals, Native Renewables will partner with developers, federal agencies, tribal governments, utilities, foundations and investors to deploy solar in the communities that need it the most.

To empower Native American families to achieve energy independence by growing renewable energy capacity and affordable access to off-grid power.

Native Renewables aim is to prove that tribes can own, manage and provide clean power for themselves and that includes a business model that values community benefits and job creation. Currently, Native Renewables is providing pre-development assistance for small solar projects for Navajo community buildings and eventually would like to support all tribal nations toward 100% renewable energy movement. There is a great need for a Native American led renewable energy developer that understands tribal sovereignty, land status and the socio-economic and cultural values of tribal nations.
