Healing by Art: After the Fire

To aid in the healing process for artists and community members who have lost their homes in the fire, Santa Rosa Arts Center will sponsor a free exhibition of art, sculpture and photography created in the aftermath of those terrible weeks.
There will be free workshops for children and teens.
Cat Kaufman will offer a free workshop on March 10th as well.
Simmon Factor will teach a free “Memories” collage workshop on February 24th.
Call for Art
Anyone can submit up to three art pieces in any media created in the aftermath of the fires. Pieces may be up to 42 inches in any direction. No fee, but donations accepted.
Submit artwork: February 5 and 6 1-5pm
- Volunteers to hang the show and to sit the gallery
- Donations to cover rent, utilities, and related gallery expenses
Clare is a creative spirit and tech-savvy marketing communications professional who is passionate about building community and a regenerative culture. Clare elevates ISI (and ISI’s clients) by harnessing the power of social media and implements integrated communications strategies to help businesses and their communities thrive.
Clare’s work with other nonprofits in the Bay Area, includes the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Expressive Arts Therapy Program and The Institute for Poetic Medicine. She also serves as a global rep and advisor for the FIGMENT Project. Clare holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
