We Rise By Lifting Others

To all of ISI’s friends, colleagues, clients and the community as a whole:

We want to share our thoughts and perspectives with you on the recent election. ISI’s overarching mission is the improvement of the human condition, and we will not abandon our efforts in the face of this current disappointing situation. We support you, too, in continuing your pursuits.

ISI is now in its 39th year of operation, and we have served, supported and assisted nearly 4,000 projects and clients with the objective of implementing ethical, social change. All of our projects have encountered obstacles and barriers in the efforts to achieve their charitable purposes; yet they persist because the people, communities, and ecosystems they serve depend on them, and value their efforts.

We urge all of you to continue your efforts to make the world a better place and to direct your energies towards your good work in the world.

As our colleagues in Ethiopia say: “We Rise By Lifting Others.” And, from our Harambee Arts Project—“We Pull Together!

Indeed, we shall!

Warm regards,
Loren, Pam, and Jenna
